Drilling & Grouting.
GDC provides a full ground consolidation service which includes site investigations via rotary boreholes, drilling and grouting of mine workings and mine entries (shafts / adits / bell pits) along with other works such as coring, soil nails and anchoring.
Ground Source
GDC offers a full UK wide service for the installation of both vertical and horizontal ground source systems from borehole drilling and trenching through to heat loop installation, grouting and earthworks. Plus Thermal response testing and water wells.

The company employs a workforce of lead drillers, drillers and grouters. Site operatives and management are backed up by Senior Management consisting of Divisional Managers and Directors with in excess of 40 years national and international experience within the industry.
All drilling operatives have either completed or are currently enrolled on training programmes to achieve NVQ status. All site supervisors are qualified to SSSTS or SMSTS and all operatives hold CSCS cards and CPCS cards for plant operations.
GDC’s large fleet of drilling rigs range from 6 tonnes with a 5m mast height and rubber tracks, which are fantastic for restricted access areas, narrow access sites and preserving tarmac / blockwork areas, through to 15 tonne steel tracked rigs with mast heights up to 9m (6m effective) and capable of drilling boreholes up to depths of around 200m, typically at diameters between 96mm up to 300mm. Although, we do have the facility to drill at larger diameters if necessary.
All of our rigs are capable of drilling with both air, air-mist and water as the required flushing medium and we can re-circulate the drilling fluids if necessary.
